Water For Every You™
Smart water systems for homes, hotels and offices in Singapore
Singapore's tap water is safe to drink. Boon is about what comes after safe: taste, minerals, plastic-free service in hotels and offices, and water quality you can actually see.
In short
What Boon does
Boon is a watertech company, founded in 2013, that designs and builds connected water systems: Boon Tap under-sink purifiers for homes, the Purify range of commercial purifiers for offices and hotels, Refill in-house glass bottling plants that replace packaged water, and WaterAI™, the monitoring platform on all of them. Boon systems run in 4,000+ organisations and 400+ hotels across nine countries.
Boon in Singapore
- Tap water in Singapore meets WHO guidelines — Boon adds mineral balance, taste and live monitoring, not basic safety.
- Hotel and office enquiries in Singapore are handled in English by the Boon international desk.

Three things every Boon system shares
Purified by UltraOsmosis™
Boon's patented filtration keeps essential minerals while removing dissolved solids, microbacteria and microplastics, with lower water wastage than conventional RO.
Made visible by WaterAI™
Live water quality, filter health and usage on a phone or a fleet dashboard, with service predicted before performance drops.
Proven at scale
The engineering inside a Boon Tap is the engineering running in 400+ hotels and 4,000+ organisations. Homes get the commercial standard, not a lighter one.

More about Boon
Questions, answered
Who is behind Boon?
Boon was founded in 2013 by Dr. Vibha Tripathi, an IIT Kanpur alumna, with co-founder Advait Kumar. The company (Swajal Water Pvt. Ltd.) is backed by the Technology Development Board of the Government of India and by Roca Group, one of the world's largest bathroom and kitchen companies. It holds seven patents and runs its own R&D lab and factory in Gurugram, India.
What is UltraOsmosis™?
UltraOsmosis™ is Boon's patented purification process. Unlike conventional RO, which strips water indiscriminately, it adjusts to the incoming water so essential minerals are retained while microbacteria and microplastics are removed. In practice that means lower water wastage and longer membrane life than standard RO, with output tuned to balanced, pleasant-tasting water.
What is WaterAI™?
WaterAI™ is the monitoring layer on every Boon system: a mobile app for a home and a web dashboard for a fleet. It tracks TDS, flow, temperature and the health of each filter in real time, and predicts when a filter needs changing instead of waiting for quality to drop. The Boon WaterAI™ App won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026.
Which Boon product is right for a home in Singapore?
Boon Tap, for most kitchens: an under-sink purifier with only a crafted steel tap on the counter. Boon Tap Pro adds hot, cold and sparkling water from one tap, for larger homes, villas and small offices. Boon recommends RO or UF filtration after looking at the local water, because supply in Singapore differs from building to building.
Which Boon systems suit hotels and offices?
Hotels usually combine Refill, an in-house glass bottling plant that replaces packaged water, with Purify units in restaurants, lobbies and back-of-house kitchens. Offices choose from the Purify range by headcount, from Purify Tall for around 50 people to Purify Mega and Purify Core for 500 and more. Every unit reports into one WaterAI™ dashboard.
How does Boon work with customers in Singapore?
Enquiries in Singapore go to Boon's international desk, or to the authorised local partner where one is listed on the contact page. Every Boon system is designed and built at Boon's own factory in Gurugram, India; delivery, installation and commissioning are arranged per project, and because each system reports into WaterAI™, Boon's team can monitor and support it remotely wherever it runs.
