Watch
See Boon Tap in action.
Design & Engineering
The details you notice, and the ones you don't.
LED alerts display
A colour-coded alert bar and digit display on the purification unit, so one look under the sink tells you the system's status.
Flexible installation
The purification unit fits under the counter or on the wall, whichever suits your kitchen.
Finish and colour
Choose the tap finish that fits your kitchen — three options, each one changing the look above the counter.
Glass front, thin profile
A slim, glass-fronted unit that tucks in without a second thought.
The Tap
Your kitchen called. It wants its counter back.
Boon Tap is the purifier you never see and the tap you'll show off. 35 cm of clearance, a smooth toggle and metallic finishes made for your home.
01
35 cm of clearance
Standard purifier taps give you 24 cm. Boon Tap gives you 35, so the big pot and the tall bottle both fit.
02
A full 360° swing
Turn it wherever you need it, with an uninterrupted laminar flow every time.
03
Solid steel, weighted base
Built like a fixture, not a gadget. It feels as solid as it looks.
04
Toggle control
One smooth flick. Water on.
The Unit
All the purifier. None of the evidence.
The entire 8-stage system and an 8 L storage-cum-pressure tank tuck away under your sink. Nothing on your counter but the tap.
01
Slim and glass-fronted
A thin profile that fits tight spaces, with a glass face for when you do look.
02
Always in the know
A digital display and an LED alert bar show your system's status at a glance.
03
Installation
Fits inside a standard sink cabinet or wall-mounts when cabinet space is limited.

WaterAI™
Every purifier monitors. Boon thinks.
WaterAI™ runs quietly in the background of Boon Tap, reading your water and your purifier every moment and acting before a problem ever reaches your glass.
It reads your water — input water quality, output water quality (TDS), water temperature and usage, tracked continuously and shown live in the Boon app. Heat changes how well purification works, so Boon watches it: India's first water purifier to track water temperature.
It protects itself — water too hot for the filters? WaterAI™ shuts the system down automatically, before any damage is done.
It learns your home — WaterAI™ learns how your household drinks and tells you exactly when a filter change is due. Not on a calendar. On your usage.
It checks itself — built-in self-diagnostics test every component and alert you the moment anything fails.
It answers to you — switch Water Profiles, schedule Care Routines and run a full system report, all from your phone.
iF Design Award 2026 · Winner
Boon WaterAI™ App
Recognised by the iF Design Award — one of the world's longest-running design prizes — for turning live water data into something people actually want to look at.
View the winner profile(opens in a new tab)Care Routines
It cleans up after itself.
Care Routines flush and refresh the system on their own, keeping your water fresh and extending your purifier's life. Auto runs by default; switch to BabySafe or Away in the Boon app.
- Auto
- Watches how your home uses water and starts cleaning cycles exactly when they're needed.
- BabySafe
- Flushes every 2–3 hours, so water for the smallest people in the house is never left standing.
- Away
- Flushes every 24 hours while you travel, so your first glass back tastes like your last one.
Researched by Boon Labs
8 stages. Zero shortcuts.
UltraOsmosis™ is Boon Labs' patented purification platform: commercial-grade engineering, built in-house and made to keep the minerals your body needs.
2 Year Warranty — best in segment.
Built differently
Filters, built differently.
Commercial-grade filtration, built to outlast the standard home RO.
Most home purifiers use filters built for light, occasional use. Boon's filters are commercial-grade, engineered to hold up under real, everyday demand, and they last longer than standard cartridges.
The pre-filter holds more before it chokes
Boon Tap
Grooved surface holds dirt deep in the channels — flow stays open.
Ordinary RO
Smooth skin — dirt crusts on the surface and chokes flow early.
More membrane in the same shell
Boon Tap
Tightly wound membrane — more active surface in the same shell.
Ordinary RO
Loose winding — open gaps, less membrane on every litre.
Minerals from rock, not a factory pellet
Boon Tap
Mineral stones from natural deposits — slow, rock-like release.
Ordinary RO
Identical factory pellets — a fixed synthetic mix.
UV that reaches every drop
Boon Tap
Mirrored chamber — UV reflects wall-to-wall through every drop.
In-tank UV
One bare lamp in a tank — no reflection, light fades fast.
Key Benefits
Everything you want. Nothing extra.
Designed to bring purification, enhancement and intelligence into your kitchen without taking over the space.
Hidden system
All the performance, tucked neatly under your sink.
Beautiful tap
The only part you see is the part you want to.
Personal water
Mineral Enhancers and Water Profiles help shape water around your day.
Live intelligence
WaterAI™ keeps the important details visible.
Water Profiles
Three kinds of water. One beautiful tap.
Each profile changes how much of your chosen minerals reaches the glass. Switch with the buttons or in the Boon app.
Profile · 01
Active
Every drop of purified water runs through your mineral cartridge. Fully mineralised water for workouts, long days and recovery.
Profile · 02
Daily
Half the water runs through the cartridge, half stays pure. Balanced water for the rest of your day. The default.
Profile · 03
Bev
Pure RO water with no minerals added, for your coffee ritual and your tea. Made for brewing.

AO Smith Z2 Pro and Aquaguard Select Designo UTC RO+UV+MTDS are the current under-the-counter RO purifiers from A. O. Smith India and Eureka Forbes, compared on the specifications published on their own product pages in September 2026. Tap clearance is Boon's own measurement of each tap as supplied, from the counter to the underside of the spout. A. O. Smith and Aquaguard are trademarks of their respective owners; the tap drawings are illustrations, not their product photographs.
