About This Manual
This manual provides essential guidance for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of the Boon Purify Tall, a floor-standing hot, normal, and cold water purifier, helping you use the product correctly and ensure optimal performance over time.
Please read it carefully before installing or using the product and retain it for future reference; following all instructions and safety guidelines will ensure proper functioning and personal safety. This manual does not cover detailed servicing or repair procedures, and all installation, servicing, and internal maintenance must be carried out only by authorized Boon service personnel, as improper installation or unauthorized servicing may affect performance and void the warranty.

Important precautions to ensure safe installation, operation, and maintenance of the purifier. Boon (Swajal Water Pvt. Ltd.) will not be responsible for any damages that occur due to mishandling or non-compliance with the following safety instructions. Please read carefully and keep this manual for future reference.
- No flammables: Never store or use gasoline, kerosene, or any other flammable liquids near the Purify Tall. Risk of fire and explosion.
- Water supply proximity: Ensure that both the inlet water supply and drainage point are within 1.5 meters of the unit’s installation site.
- Hygiene requirement: Keep the installation site clean and dry to prevent pest infestation.
- Avoid carpeted floors: Water spills may damage carpets. If installation on carpet is unavoidable, place a water tray beneath the unit.
- Stable placement: Install on a flat, level surface to prevent tipping or vibration damage.
- Mandatory grounding: Purify Tall must always be properly grounded. Never cut, remove, or bypass the grounding pin on the plug.
- Proper outlet use: Plug directly into a dedicated wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, multiple adapters, or outlets controlled by wall switches.
- Voltage compatibility: Designed for 220V to 240V, 50Hz supply. Using incorrect voltage may cause damage or fire.
- Continuous power: Keep power switched ON at all times. Disconnecting power repeatedly may cause malfunction of internal components.
- Wet hand hazard: Never plug or unplug with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
- Cord care: Do not bend, or place heavy objects on the cord. Replace immediately if damaged.
- Burn risk: Hot water (around 85°C) can cause burns. Handle with care.
- Keep children away from hot water dispensing unless supervised.
- Do not touch the nozzle directly after dispensing hot water.
- Professional installation required: All water pipe connections must be sized, fitted, and maintained by a Boon-authorized technician only.
- MCB protected circuit: Ensure Tall is installed on a Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) protected power circuit.
- Check requirements: Installer must confirm that all plumbing and electrical requirements are met before first use.
- Do not modify: Never attempt to disassemble or bypass the system components yourself.
- Correct leveling: Install on a flat, stable surface to ensure proper operation and avoid vibration damage.
- Always perform the initial flush before first use and after long inactivity.
- Do not attempt to operate without sufficient water in the supply line.
- If abnormal taste, odor, or color is noticed, stop using immediately and check filter status on the Boon App.
- Always disconnect power before cleaning.
- Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Never spray water directly onto the unit.
- Use only genuine Purify Tall filters for replacement.
- Do not attempt internal electrical repairs; contact authorized service.
- If smoke, sparks, burning smell, or unusual noise occurs, switch off and unplug immediately.
- If water leaks into electrical parts, disconnect power and call service support.
- Never restart the unit after a short circuit or major leak until inspected by a qualified technician.

Filtration Components
Purify Tall uses a multi-stage purification system consisting of the following components:

Declared Maximum Filter Life (per filter): Up to 12,000 liters.
The actual life of the filters and membrane may vary depending on feed water quality (TDS, turbidity, hardness, chlorine and contaminants), daily water consumption, inlet water pressure, and usage and maintenance conditions.
Regular cleaning and timely maintenance help ensure smooth performance of your Purify Tall. Follow the schedule below for best results.

Safety Reminder
- Always unplug before cleaning, and dry thoroughly before use.
- Do not open internal components. Maintenance must be done by authorized service personnel.

Please ensure that the following conditions are met at the installation area before installing the Purify Tall.
1. Spacing Requirements
- Minimum Width: 330 mm (plus 200 mm clearance recommended)
- Minimum Depth: 380 mm (plus 300 mm clearance recommended)
- Minimum Height: 1150 mm (plus 150 mm clearance recommended)
- Indoor Use: Yes
- Outdoor Use: Not recommended. Keep in a cool, dry place.
2. Plumbing Requirements
- Input Water Supply Pipe Size: 0.5 inches in diameter
- Drainage point should ideally be on the ground.
- The purifier must be installed within 1.5 meters of both the outlet drain pipe and the inlet supply pipe.
3. Electrical Requirements
- Input Required: 220 to 240 V (up to 16 A max)
- Supply Type: Single-phase electrical connection
- The supply switch should be easily accessible and less than 1 meter from the purifier.
- Extension cords should not be used.
4. Network Requirements
- Wi-Fi is mandatory to set up and access the data for Purify Tall.
- Network Bandwidth: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5 (LE).

Connecting the Water Supply & Drain
Connecting the inlet water supply
- The inlet water supply point or pipe should be 0.5 inches in diameter.
- Thoroughly check the water quality and water temperature as per the site recce.
- Make the connection as shown in the image.
Connecting the outlet water drain
- The drainage hole or outlet point should be 2 inches in diameter, and the drain should not be above a height of 1 foot from the ground.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Identify outlet type: Check whether the wall outlet is MTA or FTA, and use the correct matching attachment.
- Install pre-filter: Insert the PP filter into the pre-filter housing and tighten the housing securely using the key.
- Open sediment filter housing: Unscrew the housing by hand or with the filter key.
- Open carbon filter housing: Prepare the housing for first-time installation.
- Remove membrane housing: Disconnect the inlet, permeate, and reject lines, then remove the membrane housing from the stand.
- Open membrane housing: Use the filter key to open the membrane housing cap.
- Install RO membrane: Insert the membrane, then refit the cap using the correct matching attachment.
- Reconnect RO system: Connect the permeate outlet to the inline UV, the reject outlet to the drain line, and the membrane inlet to the booster pump line.
- Install filters: Insert the pleated PP filter into the sediment housing and the carbon filter into the carbon housing.
- Secure filter housings: Tighten all housings by hand or with the filter key.
- Close unit door: Ensure all components are secured before closing.
- Switch ON hot and cold: Turn ON the rear hot and cold switches.
- Check water flow and flush: Dispense water to check smooth flow. Flush 2 to 3 liters before use to remove the food-grade preservatives used in the RO membrane.
- TDS calibration: Measure the outlet water TDS using a meter. Open the Boon Vision App, go to Admin Actions, then TDS Calibration, enter the value, and submit.
Hot and Cold Water Activation
A regular ON/OFF switch is built into the machine for your convenience. You may turn these switches ON or OFF as per your requirement. The switches are located on the back of the machine, as shown below.
- Do not turn either switch ON until the treated water tank inside the Purify Tall is completely filled. It may take approximately 15 minutes for the tank to fill after the inlet valve is opened.
- After turning a switch ON, it may take up to 5 minutes for the purifier to reach the desired dispensing temperature.
- Unless you activate these switches, Purify Tall will dispense purified water at normal temperature.
Warranty Coverage
The Purify Tall water purifier is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or office use.
